Röyksopp veröffentlichen überraschend Ambient-Album

‘Nebulous Nights – An Ambient Excursion Into Profound Mysteries’ ist eine Ambient-Neuinterpretation ihres 2022 erschienenen Albums 'Profound Mysteries'.

Die norwegische Electronica-Gruppe hat vor drei Tagen überraschend eine Neuinterpretation ihres sechsten Studioalbums 'Profound Mysteries' veröffentlicht. ‘Nebulous Nights – An Ambient Excursion Into Profound Mysteries’ wurde vorher nicht angekündigt.

Auf ihrem Instagramkanal beschreiben Röyksopp die Platte wie folgt: "Analog, roh und immersiv. Das ist «Nebulous Nights» – eine Ambient-Neuinterpretation unseres Albums «Profound Mysteries». Diese live aufgenommene After-Hour-Session ist bis zum Rand gefüllt mit Anspielungen und Hommagen sowie Verweisen auf verschiedene Teile der Röyksopp-Geschichte. [...] Über das reine Hörvergnügen hinaus möchte «Nebulous Nights» die Bedeutung von kritischem Denken und neugierigem Grübeln unterstreichen. Eine Denkweise fördern, die Erkundung und persönliches Wachstum ermöglicht, indem die eigene Vorstellungskraft und Neugier nicht auf eine bestimmte Weltanschauung oder einen bestimmten Rahmen beschränkt wird."
